Kyla Pecoraro

Kyla’s compelling passion caring for the elderly and strong Christian faith drives her every day to lead her team. She is dedicated to ensuring her residents are provided the proper, loving care by staff that sincerely enjoys the work that they do. She takes great pride in her home and the quality of life provided to her residents and staff. Kyla is proud to say that the staff here at Morgan City has impressive longevity in there roles and compassionate hearts for the residents- that is something you simply can’t teach.

Kyla is married to her wonderful supportive husband, Jacob Pecoraro, and together they have a beautiful baby boy Eli. The Pecoraro family is native to the Morgan City area making Kyla feel right at home in the community.

Kyla received her BS from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She began her career in Long Term Care in the Social Services Department, Admissions, and then Community Relations before getting her Administrator’s license. Her journey has molded her to understand the field from different angles and with a better perspective.

Morgan City has a thriving activities department that is constantly growing with new ideas and events being planned. Live music, pet therapy, and garden club to name a few!

Morgan City offers a brand new skilled nursing wing that offers all private suite rooms and a state of the art therapy gym. Rehab to home has never felt so luxurious with it’s elegant feel and special catered care for your loved one.

What Kyla enjoys most about working for Legacy is the morals and beliefs the company stands behind. Doing the right thing for the residents and staff and focusing on providing them proper care. They truly are leaving a “Legacy” by making a positive change in the Long Term Care world.
